A: There is a one-time, non-refundable activation fee. This fee covers DOE registration, activation, and installation/labor costs—ensuring a minimal upfront investment.
A: Yes, AddaVolt provides free installation and commissioning of the EV charger. You only pay the one-time activation fee.
A: You must provide:
A dedicated EV charging parking slot (we recommend two slots per charger).
A stable internet connection (via Ethernet cable or reliable Wi-Fi).
Adequate electrical infrastructure, including proper wiring (8 mm² for Line/Neutral, 3.5 mm² for Ground) and a 40A circuit breaker. [DC Chargers coming soon!]
All necessary local permits and compliance documents (Business Permit, Fire Safety Inspection Certificate, and, if required, Location/Zoning Clearance).
A: For each charging session, the net profit (charging revenue minus electricity costs, which are fully covered by AddaVolt) is shared as follows:
Partner’s Share: 10-20% of the net profit
A: With typical usage, ROI is achieved in about 3–4 months. If usage is higher, the payback period could be even shorter.
A: AddaVolt handles all routine maintenance and repairs at no cost. If a charger becomes non-functional, we will troubleshoot and repair or replace it within 5–10 working days.
A: The security of the charger is the Partner’s responsibility. In the event of theft, unauthorized removal, or damage due to security breaches, the cost of replacement or repair will be charged to the Partner. AddaVolt will provide recommended security guidelines to help protect the equipment.
A: You will have access to a dedicated partner dashboard that displays real-time usage statistics and monthly performance reports, ensuring complete transparency regarding your revenue share.
A: We offer ongoing technical support, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting services from our office. Additionally, we provide comprehensive onboarding and training materials to help you manage your dashboard and understand your earnings.
A: Yes, this Agreement is effective for three (3) years from the DOE Registration date. However, AddaVolt reserves the right to remove the charger from your site after one (1) year with a 30-day notice if operational or security issues arise.
A: Absolutely. Your business will be prominently listed on our EV charging app, enhancing your visibility to EV drivers and potentially driving more foot traffic to your premises.
A: AddaVolt will provide best-practice guidelines to secure the charger (such as proper lighting, surveillance, or physical barriers). However, implementing these recommendations is the Partner’s responsibility.

A: Yes. As your business grows and the EV market evolves, we can discuss adding more chargers or upgrading to higher-capacity models and additional features (such as DC chargers or solar integration) through separate agreements.
